General Policies of C-Tours inc.

The general policies found here apply to each tour, unless the specific tour has stricter policies due to chartering ships or purchasing non-refundable components on to the tour. These will then be detailed on the tours page. Please note that each tour is custom designed and may require different cancellation penalties.

A VALID PASSPORT IS REQUIRED FOR U.S. CITIZENS

It is required that your passport be valid for at least six months beyond the date you start your tour. If you are a U.S. citizen, you may need a visa for travel on your itinerary. C-Tours will advise your group leader of those general requirements.

If you are not a US citizen, please contact your embassy to determine what documents you need.

C-Tours inc. is not responsible for providing documentation for visas or passports (international or USA).

RESPONSIBILITY:

C-Tours inc. is not responsible for any personal injury, damage, loss, accident, or delay due to any act, negligence or default of the tour guide, or any company or person engaged in transporting the passengers, or rendering any service, or carrying out the arrangements for any tour, or their agents, servants, and employees.

GENERIC CANCELLATION POLICY*:

Full refund minus a $100.00 fee will be made for cancellations received in writing up to 91 days prior to departure. After that period, additional cancellation fees are as follows (as noted above, some tours have alternate penalties):

TARIFF & EXHANGE FLUCTUATIONS:

Our price is quoted in U.S. Dollars and is based on tariffs, taxes, and exchange levels at the time of going on the market. Rates are subject to adjustments in the event of smaller numbers in the group, sharp fluctuation in exchange rates, tax increases and/or additional fuel or security surcharges.

PRICING & ROOMING:

If you request to be assigned to a roommate and one is unavailable, you will be billed the single supplement cost. A limited number of singles may be available. Tour rates are based on a minimum number of participants (see specific tour). All space subject to availability.

INSURANCE:

If you are interested in Trip Cancellation Insurance for medical reasons please contact C-Tours inc. or your group leader. A detailed brochure will be sent to you upon receipt of your deposit. In order to cover “pre-existing” conditions, the insurance must be purchased within 21 days. You can purchase the insurance by calling Travelex directly or on their web site.

* Special events such as Oberammergau 2010:

Your deposit is required to secure your Passion Play package (ticket and accommodations) for this once-a-decade event. We will request the Passion Play package once we know there is a minimum number of group participants in the group. After that the Passion Play Package will be non-refundable. You are welcome to find a replacement up to 90 days before departure. Please note that dates & itinerary are subject to change.
